Straight From the Heart : I am a ChE Graduate

*Since we are democratic, allow me to share something about my graduation, success and victory that I experienced after a long yearsss of struggling and striving*

I would never be who I am today, a graduate of BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN CHEMICAL ENGINEERING without GOD and the people who have been part of this bitter –sweet – memorable – wondrous journey.

Above everyone else, I’ll be forever thankful and grateful to Daddy Lord for everything that He has done (and it’s too marvelous to understand). I know I am favored, blessed and loved and that I praise Him for He has shown the wonders of His unfailing love (Ps 31:21). Whatever I am now, it is all because God poured out His special favored in me and not without results. Yet it was not I but God who was working through me by His grace (1 Cor 15:10).

The last year of my college life seems very difficult *insert sleepless nights, FYPS, failing marks*. I was even afraid to change my profile pic (yearbook pic) on facebook and refuse to talk everything about graduation.
But YESSS! I ended up victoriously. Indeed, the Lord fight for me up to the very end (Exodus14:40). My sufferings, pains and brokenness that I have experienced for long years have turned into a wonderful blessing. His LOVE is truly manifested in me. And that I face this special day of my life with strength, pride and gratitude. Truly, He is faithful with His promises and I’m forever thankful to HIM for being so even though I am not that faithful to Him sometimes.

God, You never leave me hanging. You have comforted me in so many ways. I cried! I sober! I worried! I feared! But You never allow me to compromise with all of these. Instead, You give me HOPE LOVE and FAITH (truly faith endures testing) to never give up and to just hold on with your promises. There are so much to be thankful for, Dad (hard to mention them all but before I bend my knees down, you know already what’s in my heart).

For everything, I realized that You didn’t change the situation or circumstances because You are trying to change my heart. Lord, this word of gratitude is definitely not enough but I give you all my praises and You deserves more. I am bringing back all the glory to You knowing that all of these are nothing without You who sustains and provides.

To my parents, you have shown a lot of your supports financially, emotionally and spiritually. Yah! Let’s be real more often than not you keep on blaming me for taking up ChE but how about this time? I was able to finish the race I have started. I have never failed you in my education. With all sincerity, I am super thankful for giving me the right education (which can’t be taken away from me) and for sending me to Xavier University and for allowing me to have my first love – Chemical engineering.
Thank you for making me sundo in the hi – way whenever I go home late just because I have to finish something in school. Thank you for the trust, guidance, understanding and for all the prayers you have for me. I CAN’T IMAGINE THE SENSE OF RELIEF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING RIGHT NOW. Indeed, you are successful in racing your children. You have already a teacher, a fireman, an agriculturist and sooner or later you’ll be having a chemical engineer (in God’s perfect time and so I declare).

To my siblings and in –laws, you have been so supportive with me. You have given me all the needs I have down to my tuition fees, expenses, matriculation and etc. You have showed a lot of courage and patience to sustain my finances until I finish college. You have paid it forward and I wanna say THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING. God bless our heart.

To my ChE Batchmates (2013), CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN! I am forever proud to our batch because we produce brilliant and talented graduates from this batch. To name, we have our Summa Cum Laude, Magna Cumlaudes, Outstanding Student of the Year, and a Class Valedictorian. But excellence is not just measured on having all of these awards but how we did our very best. We are all laudes in our own special ways and that we are able to conquer and survive one of the most difficult (they say) course in the College of Engineering by living each day full of hope, doing our very best and allowing God to do the rest for us. We shared the same struggles throughout the years but none of us give up but instead we keep on inspiring and motivating ourselves to hold on no matter what happen. We have finally finished the race we have started long before.
I thank you for the wonderful and memorable moments we had shared all through out the years. Thank you for the laughter and the helps you have shown me. We will be seeing and sharing moments again for the next 6 months to come. God bless your heart.
Also, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to group of people (hmmm as much as I wanted to name names but of course naman I don’t wanna be unfair in the world of sincerity) who became part of my college journey. (in alphabetical order)

CAMPUS LIFE mates: how I so miss the Monday gathering! Thank you for all the invitations you had for me. Most of the time, I missed to join due to FYPS (I had only 3 present for 2013 not bad at all) but it doesn’t matter. I still thank Daddy Lord for all the learning and lessons imparted in me. I will surely treasure everyone whom I met and became my friends all the way. Thank you!

CHE DEPARTMENT: hahahahis! To our dearest instructors, you have molded us to be a better and competent individual. We have undergone a lot of process ( tshirt says: I am process for a better change) in order for us to achieve our one and ultimate desire, A CHE GRADUATE. None of this we would have without all of you giving us constant pressure, “makapatay” na mga requirements, madugong exams and quizzes and even during engg days still you have given us classes (sorry for being so bitter with the description hahahaha) but cgeh nalang! This is nothing compare to what we have right now. THANK YOU SIR and MAAM for imparting us with knowledge, for giving us hard exams and harsh deadlines. Its always been for our own good. Thank you for the patience and for allowing us to pass the “wanmilyon” subjects and giving us barely passing marks and grades that is far more than we could ever imagine. Although, we can say that we don’t deserve it, but I believe it’s a teacher’s grace – a teacher’s grace that comes from God’s grace that is overflowing. Salamat ng marami. You’ll always be remembered. May God bless all of you and your family.

JAMC – CDEO: (consider this as my praise testimony). Thank you so much for everything! For always welcoming me in every event/activity you had. I may not have that chance to get along with all of you guys but I believe you are truly inspiring, encouraging, wonderful, genuine, God – fearing children of God. With all sincerity, I thank the Lord for blessing me with people like you. Truly, God – sent friend. None of this I would have, I would reach without you guys who always help me in prayers (request). Indeed, a lot of prayers have been answered. You treated me like a family and never did I feel like other person to you. Continue to be a blessing to others. So I thank you from the bottom of my heart. May the Good Lord bless you all the more.

SFC MINISTRY: I am still a neophyte, from being a YFC to here. One thing is for sure” I will never be single anymore because I am forever be in a relationship with God”. I thank you for all the prayers, encouragements and motivations you had given me. For sometimes I can’t make it to activities and PM’s regularly but rest assured God is always in my heart no matter what life takes me. And soon Ill be away for a long time (for my review school), you’ll always be remembered in my prayers. I’ll be doing my best for God and not only for my own desire.

YFC MINISTRY: seven years in the service is the best gift Daddy Lord had given me. YESSS! I crossed over to SFC but as we always say “ Once a YFC will always be a YFC”. I thank the LORD for giving me wonderful people (friendships with you) that I will surely treasure for a lifetime.

WCS: hmmmm! What more can I say? THANK YOU my dearest, for walking with me in my college years. I could never repay you for all the helps you had for me. I will surely treasure every moments I had with you. May God continue to bless our friendship. More engineers to come. HAHAHAHAHA THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

*I wanted to name names but I don’t wanna miss someone. I might broke his/her heart that will cause him/her to hate me for a lifetime HAHAHAHAHA bitaw, sa imu nga nagbasa aneh (nagspend ug time basa aneh), SALAMAT HAP! Si Lord na magbless sa imu*
